Greta's Eddy

 Greta’s Eddy

Written by Kate Fenton

Greta’s Eddy a short film about a woman returning to her family fishing cabin to celebrate her brother’s birthday when she is visited by a ghost from her past.

This film was written and created as a way of saying goodbye to a cousin lost in a car crash and a friend’s passing from cancer. After a corrupted hard drive and a computer crash the footage was lost - yet another opportunity to learn about letting go. Then in 2020 during the pandemic the original HD tapes were discovered hidden in storage. A new and refreshed edit was pursued by our fearless editor Maria T. Topouzov and some 8 mm family footage was found and incorporated. Finally David Mesiha composed a beautiful soundtrack to accompany the film.
